Meet Luna – A Real Japanese Hostess

Hi, I’m Luna — a working hostess in Japan’s cabaret club scene.

I moved to Tokyo at 19 with big dreams inspired by legendary hostesses. Reality wasn’t easy — I struggled, failed, cried… but I never stopped loving this world.

Today, I work at a cabaret club near Tokyo, serving 40–50 regular guests every month. It’s busy, but every encounter has its own story — that’s what makes this job so special to me.

Over the years, I’ve worked at four clubs across Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Saitama, meeting more than 1,500 customers in total. Every conversation teaches me something new about people, emotions, and connections.

Why I Started This Website

Japan’s hostess clubs — known as “kyabakura” — are a unique part of the country’s nightlife culture. Many people overseas see them as glamorous or mysterious, but few understand the emotions, communication, and hospitality behind them.

I started this website to share that culture with the world — not as fantasy, but as a reflection of how people in Japan connect, communicate, and express kindness in their own way.

Because hostess clubs are such a Japan-specific experience, we don’t see many international guests. Language can be a barrier — but I truly hope that more people from around the world can get to know this culture, visit a cabaret club, and enjoy open conversations with us someday.

If this site helps even one person appreciate Japan’s cabaret culture a little more deeply, I’ll be truly happy.
